These Terms govern your use of Luz Angela Spanish Tutor ("the Service", "we", "us"), a personalized Spanish learning service delivered through Facebook Messenger, Discord, and the web. By messaging the tutor or using the website, you agree to these Terms.
The Service provides Spanish language instruction through automated conversation. Lessons, quizzes, and feedback are generated by artificial intelligence. Luz Angela is not a human teacher, and the Service is not a substitute for professional instruction, certification, or translation where accuracy is critical.
We assess your ability and generate lesson content automatically. Assessments are estimates, not formal qualifications, and carry no accreditation.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your identity on the Service is your messaging platform account — your Messenger or Discord identity. Each platform you use is a separate account with its own learning history; progress on one does not transfer to another. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your platform account.

Portions of the Service may be offered free of charge, and portions may require payment. Where a paid plan is offered, the price, billing interval, and any included free allowance will be stated at the point of purchase before you are charged.
Paid plans renew automatically for successive billing periods until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to your next renewal. Continuing to use a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price. Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider; we do not store your card details.
Where required by law, you may have a statutory right to cancel within a cooling-off period after purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under the law of your country of residence.
You retain ownership of the messages you send. You grant us a limited licence to process them in order to operate the Service — generating responses, assessing your level, and personalizing lessons, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Lesson content generated by the Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial learning use.
We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and the Service depends on third-party platforms (Meta, Discord) and providers whose availability we do not control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of generated content. AI-generated instruction may contain errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or, if you have paid nothing, to zero. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only to the extent permitted.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can erase your learning data by sending !reset to the tutor. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
We may update these Terms. Material changes affecting paid plans will be communicated before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
